Understanding your Pulse dashboard

When you sign in to Pulse, the first thing you see is your Marketing overview. Think of it as your home page—it pulls together everything happening across Email, Push, and WhatsApp into one screen, so you're not jumping between different tools just to know how things are going.

April 20, 2026

Here's a walk-through of everything you'll see there.

Getting Around

On the left side of your screen is a thin strip of icons. This is your main menu. It's how you get to Contacts, Campaigns, Automations, Segments, and Analytics.

You don't need to memorize what each icon does right away; you'll pick it up naturally as you click around.

Clicking the very top icon always brings you back to this overview page.

At the top of the page, there's a search bar where you can type a contact's name or a campaign's name to jump straight to it, instead of scrolling around looking for it.

Next to that is a notification bell, a help icon, and your profile picture.

Finishing Your Setup

Right under the top bar, you'll notice a thin progress bar that says something like "Set up your workspace, 3 of 6 steps complete", with a button to continue.

This is just a reminder of the setup steps we covered earlier, so you always know what's left.

It'll disappear once you've finished all six.

The Overview Page Itself

At the top of the page you'll see the title "Marketing overview" with a little green "Live" badge next to it, letting you know your workspace is active.

Underneath, you can pick a date range. This controls what time period all the numbers on the page reflect.

There's also a button to customize what shows up on this dashboard, and a quick "Create campaign" button so you're never more than one click away from starting something new.

Your Marketing Health Score

The first thing you'll notice is a big circular score out of 100.

This is a single number meant to sum up how your marketing is doing overall, and next to it you'll see a word like "Steady" telling you the general direction things are moving.

If you want more detail than just the score, three bars underneath break it down into what it's actually made of:

  • How well your messages are reaching inboxes (deliverability)
  • How much people are engaging with them
  • How fast your audience is growing

There's also a short line explaining what changed recently, written in plain English rather than as a chart you have to interpret yourself.

Revenue, at a Glance

Four small cards show your revenue picture:

  • Your total store revenue
  • The portion of that revenue you can actually trace back to a campaign
  • How many orders came from your campaigns
  • What percentage of visitors turned into buyers

Insights That Write Themselves

Just below that is a card that automatically points out what matters in your data, things like "Deliverability is healthy at 100/100."

You don't have to dig through charts to spot this yourself; Pulse surfaces it for you.

This is powered by AI running quietly in the background, looking at every campaign you send and learning from how people actually respond to it.

Over time, it starts noticing patterns. For example, if a certain type of email consistently gets a stronger response than others, Pulse will point that out and suggest sending something similar again.

Instead of you having to dig back through old campaigns to spot what worked, Pulse does that comparison for you and brings the suggestion straight to you.

Comparing Your Channels

Further down, you'll find a table comparing Email, Push, and WhatsApp side by side.

The table shows:

  • How many messages each channel sent
  • How many were delivered
  • How much engagement they got
  • Their click rate
  • How much revenue each one brought in

This is one of the most useful parts of the page if you're trying to figure out which channel is actually working hardest for you.

Right next to it is your conversion funnel, showing how visitors move from browsing to actually buying.

Your Contacts and How They're Growing

A few smaller cards show your total audience size, how many new contacts joined this month, and how many emails you've sent.

Just below, you'll see:

  • Your average open rate
  • Your average click rate
  • How many automations you currently have running

There's also a chart tracking how your subscriber count has grown over time, broken out by channel.

A separate breakdown shows what share of your total audience is on Email, Push, or WhatsApp.

How Healthy Your Sending Is

A separate score, also out of 100, focuses specifically on deliverability.

It shows whether your messages are actually landing in inboxes, or bouncing and getting marked as spam.

Three numbers underneath explain what's feeding into that score:

  • Bounce rate
  • Unsubscribe rate
  • Spam complaints

Your Recent Campaigns

Near the bottom, you'll find a list of your most recent campaigns with their:

  • Channel
  • Status
  • Number of messages sent
  • Open rate

If you haven't sent anything yet, you'll see a friendly nudge to launch your first campaign instead of an empty table.

Last of all are two small cards showing your most common customer events and a general activity log. Both of these will fill in naturally as your store starts generating activity.

A Few Things Worth Knowing

Seeing a lot of zeros when you first log in is completely normal. This is just what a brand-new workspace looks like before you've sent your first campaign.

As soon as you launch something, these numbers start reflecting real activity.

It's also worth understanding the difference between your total store revenue and attributed revenue:

  • Total store revenue is everything your store made.
  • Attributed revenue is only the part Pulse can specifically trace back to something you sent.

If anything on this page is confusing, the help icon in the top bar connects you straight to the Pulse support team.
